TORONTO URBAN BOOK EXPO

WRITER'S RETREAT & CONFERENCE

Kya Publishing's Toronto Urban Book Expo is an annual exposition where authors and publishers have the opportunity to display and communicate their projects, explore international networking opportunities, and participate in informative sessions with their peers, experts, and supporters in literature.

Surrounding the
Emancipation Day long weekend in Toronto, Ontario, the Book Expo highlights published and self-published writers and their books. It has featured the publications of members of the international literary community, including guests from the United States, Caribbean, and Canada who focus on presenting the works of authors across the African diaspora.

The focus of our event is to provide the following benefits for writers:

1) Professional Development

2) Skills/Knowledge Increase

3) International Networking/Support

4) Audience Growth/New Readers

5) Entertainment/Positive Vibes!

Since 2014, we have proudly hosted nearly 100 writers/authors; here's a list of how to stay connected with them, buy their books, and continue to support their work
